Military warrants, nos. 1-1320, 1328-5020, 8780-9969, August 8,1782-September 21, 1889.

These records contain recorded copies of warrants issued by the Land Office on the basis of certificates from the governor proving Revolutionary War military service and thus eligibility for bounty land. The warrants contain the name of the warrantee, the quantity of land to which he was entitled, and the name, rank, and period of service of the person on whose service the land was due. The date recorded is that on which the warrant was issued.
